Our Fourth of July started out with a Flag ceremony at Doc's H-D. We de-commissioned the USA flag and the POW-MIA flag from the H-D shop first. Then we blessed them and gave them the proper burning, with the assistance of the American Legion, VFW and Vietnam Vets. All branches of the U.S. Armed Forces and law enforcement were also present. Then all flags presented by the bikers (over 265 attended), were burned; those that had seen their days on cycles, vehicles and our homes. Over 85 flags were retired, with three from myself.
