This page has all of the front page monthly stories moved here for future reference. It is a long page, but helps new friends see what I have been doing. I hope you enjoy your trip thru my world. Peace

JUNE 2008!  Late....Well, the month is almost gone already. I am slow in keeping this page up. But soon that will change. I have a new program for web building.. In the next month or so, I will be converting my website from FrontPage to Dreamweaver8, with all the bells and whistles. Thanks to the great folks at Missouri Vocational Rehabilitation and the Adult Vocational Services of Jefferson County, without whose training, equipment and software, will enable me to start doing something productive with my ass.

I am finally starting to make the acquaintances of local friends within a radius of St. Louis.  It had been really hard the first 7 years due to lots of ..life. Since I am not able to move as I had planned for a while longer, I am going to at least enjoy the time in this area. I saw Steve Landesberg, a comedian of Barney Miller fame. He was ok. I enjoy Bob Zany and the Bob & Tom comedy troupe that follows with him a lot better. I will be seeing Bob Zany and others in the middle of July.

Oh, and I will be seeing Steve Miller and Joe Cocker the 6th of July.  I have not seen Steve since '83 at Red Rocks in Denver, with a party in my then hometown of Lafayette. Steve was the first concert I was ever taken to back in 1973, in Philadelphia, at the Spectrum Stadium.  Should be a good 25 year reunion.  I have been doing a lot of Quarter century events the last few years.. Guess it has to come with the age factor.. I have done a lot in my years. And the milestones keep on,.,.,.,..,,

Enjoy the rest of June. We are all just hanging on by threads along all the big rivers.. Flooding has been happening for weeks.  Millions of acres of fields are wasted for this year's crops. Fuel is over $4 a gallon. Life is starting to be a survival game.  Peace to All. The little letter that is flashing below opens your email client with an email addressed to me.. Just tell me what's on your mind and send it.

MAY 2008!  Well, had a bit of nothing on this page to honor my good riding friend, Donny, aka Lefty. I have known him since early 2003 when I joined my Piasa Chapter of ABATE. We got to enjoy doing lots. He, too was limited in his riding by a stroke, versus my total destruction from my bike wreck.  But we both had determination and desire, and were able to get back in the saddle again, if not only for awhile.  Peace Donny. Find some good clouds for us to hit when I get there...

April was different. My birthday came and went. I tried to help out a friend from up north who needed a break from life. I hope that it helped. I did get to enjoy some great travel up to the border and back a couple times. In all kinds of weather and all kinds of storms.  But it was a fun way to experience the North! And my long time friends in Ohio that I have missed, were so great to see again! That alone was my Birthday gift..  ARE YOU LISTENING, OHIO??!!

Rain.. That is about all I can say for Missouri, Illinois.. Rain.. Rivers are flooded beyond relief for over 7 weeks.. I just saw the Mississippi starting to lower a foot or so, by the Landing on St. Louis shores.  And the Full Moon.. It has been Spectacular the last three months.  Will be posting stuff soon.. Voc rehab has done so much to help me with my schooling. I now have my two Chancellor's Certificates in my hand.  Soon, Soon.

Anyway, Memorial Weekend starts tomorrow. (Fri.) and I want all to be safe out there) I will try to update this next week, from my new toy.. Then we will start to see things happening with my website.  I have picture guest books on my other sites, so If you haven't signed it, please do.. If you have before, a lot never showed up.. I re-did the book and reinstalled it on three sites.. Only once is needed.

Peace, Safety, Happiness, Compassion for Others, Pleasure and Joy.  These things I wish for all.  Lord knows I'd like some of them!!

May 2008

GoodBye Donny Hartshorn. You were a good Friend.

APRIL 2008! Started the month out helping a friend from up north get some respite, and hopefully enjoy some of her time down in the states. Jen is a fun filled friend who has just had so much happen, I thought it was time for a break. Picked Jen up in Duluth, MN on Monday the 31st. Cut thru WI andthe snow came. And came. And came. Thru no man's land and reservations, we enjoyed the beautiful view. Three Bald Eagles graced us with their message.

After getting shut down in Tomahawk, WI for the night, we went to dinner to watch the snow fall, fall, fall. We slid back to the motel and hunkered up for a night of snow.. Dug out the next day to a beautiful Blue sky and clear roads.. Great job, WIdot.

Made it to Zanesville, Oh to see friends of up to 10 years. Will visit more on way back thru OH and IN, and IL.  Hoping to be home for my birthday and a class, then take Jen back up to Duluth for her ride into the North. More down the road.  Peace all.

MARCH. Well, sorry for the delay.. My fractured wrist has taken a toll on me. As the only good working wrist, I have lost a lot of usability from this. My ribs tat I busted up bad are starting to heal. Slowly.  It has messed up my time table for leaving Misery. Looks like I will be here thru my birthday and beyond. I am going back to UMSL-St Louis for more classes while waiting to heal. Thanks Voc Rehab!!

We have had some interesting snowstorms and outright blizzards here lately. We have broken a 7 or 8 year record for snowfall already with the last storm. Records will be made each time it snows now. Whoopee!  I had no winner or even anyone that made a guess to last months photos.  This month's photo is a tribute to the three in it. They have given us years of great movies and tons of laughter and horror. Having met and rode with Peter for many years in Montana, I think of him as a Friend.

I made a page last month for one of my longtime friend's daughter, Hilary. Her hubby is doing his 3rd deployment in the Sandbox and wanted him to see some current photos of the family.  Take a moment to visit the page and send either one of them a note by clicking on their name at the bottom of the page.  As a Patriot Guard Rider, this is the least I can do for someone who is fighting over there to keep my freedom to do stupid shit here at home.  Thanks Lorenzo!  You can find the link at the bottom of my Photos Plus page or Click Here.  Thanks.

Feb photos.

Do you know where these were taken??

January 2008:

Well, I take it we all made it thru the B S and are now jumping into the New Year. I have set 29 February as my day to be the hell out of Misery. Er, Missouri. I am still trying to determine which state will have the dis-pleasure of my relocating. AZ or NM, and I think it will probably be NM because of the Medicinal issue. After 35 years, I can be certified a Green Card carrier and not have to look over my shoulder when treating my pain. I can still drive over to AZ to do the things I have planned.

I finished my Extension classes at the University of Missouri-St. Louis (UMSL) in Web Page Design and will be receiving a Chancellor's Certificate as well as my credits.  I am looking forward to putting my new found skills (erp) to work to help the Native Artists in the numerous tribes around the bi-state area. (AZ/NM).

August News Finally had a falling out that necessitated a get up and get out of where I was at. I have moved out of my location, not to the best tune around, but have that hurdle finally behind me. Have been camping, staying in motels and visiting friends. Everything is in storage and the new location has to be determined. Still working on that, though NE AZ is my idea.

Oh. I added a new page located on the top right. 'Definition of 'Crazy'. Some interesting things relating to songs, books, movies and just what Crazy means. Check it out if you have some time..

No audio tag on here this month.

Coming to St. Louis mid-Sept. What a re-union that will be. Also will be Alice Cooper and the Great Rock band, Queensryche.  It was a GREAT SHOW! More later on it.

Here are some photos of me in different stages over the last few years. Not in any particular order. Click on the thumbnails to see the larger size. More stuff from the About Us page have been transferred here, down a few clicks. Trying to rearrange the site some. Not sure what is going to happen to it. With the thought of being taken back to Montana against my will..

This woman is walking the World for Breast Cancer. Feel free to copy and pass her on so that she can reach her destination. Say a prayer for all those who are affected by this terrible disease. She's walking around the world ! Help pass her on so she can get there!
-------------------------------
This was sent to me by one of my dear friends, Barb, who just informed me of her dealing with this disease. I have many friends who are going through this turmoil and I have lost friends to different variations of the disease. So, instead of my sending this out to a few hundred in my email list, I am making this available on my websites with the hopes that my friends and visitors will take her and help send her off to all parts of the world. Thank you in advance.

Life is rolling along at a good clip these days. I sure hope that life has been treating you well as you enjoy your journey across this great land of ours. I am still trying to get my act together and put my plans into motion, as to relocation, trying to reach out and try my luck in new areas, and also try to find a way to enjoy life more with less pain. Later!

  • My good news for the start of the year. On the 10th of November, I yanked all my teeth out in a last ditch effort to alleviate some problems with my TMJ, and not only solved that problem, but also turned my migraine problem upside down. I went from 4 days a month w/o a migraine over the last 30 years to 4 days a month with a migraine the first month without the teeth. For those of you that don't know me. My first motorcycle accident in 1974 was a nasty one, had me DOA 2x, in a come for 3 months and in the hospital for a year. You can read about some of the accident on my medical page located on my links page. The migraines started then. I tried everything over the last 30 years to slow down or prevent them, to no avail. Though the TMJ was thought to be the possible reason for it, nothing was ever done to test or treat it. So, I am so thankful for this gift!. I am still in the healing stage and work has to be done to correct the bone loss from the injury to the lower jaw, but I have a great dental group working with me the last 4 years.  Happy Holidays to All!

  • Well, it's almost Thanksgiving here in the Midwest. I hope that all of you are ready to enjoy time with family and friends. I am not able to get to see family this year but have had more phone contact than normal. Be patient as photos from some exciting places will be uploaded shortly, given by friends.

  • The Season has changed and the scenery is starting to do it's thing. I hope that my friends gave had a good Spring & Summer. I know from the surrounding states that harvest season will  produce above normal yields in corn, soybeans, sunflowers, wheat and hay.

  • Well, we survived another Fourth of July. The Flag ceremonies at Doc's H-D again were very moving and inspiring. Always glad to see the military out in force, in uniform, to show our patriotic spirit.

  • I lost two dear friends on the 11th of June. Missy Ginsky from Camdenton, MO, along the Lake of the Ozarks, from a year long battle with lung cancer, and Randy Craig of Roundup, MT who had just been diagnosed with brain cancer only weeks earlier. I am in the process of putting up a special page with photos as they both have special meaning in my life and I was moved immensely when they both passed on to the other side within four hours of each other.  More soon.

  • Skylar turned nine years old on 08 June 2004. I have not seen or talked with him since 02 April 2000. Man, I miss that little guy. i just hope he hangs in there and knows that I will find him when he turns 16.

  • If any of you have any good photos from your area you want to have posted, I will be glad to post them in my Photos Plus page. Just send them to me using this link: Photos For Sharing.

25 May 2003
Well, looks like the last week was okay for weather here in eastern Missouri. Everything across our state and the neighboring states are as green as can be. The rivers are up to normal levels and plants and flowers are outstanding! I have been adding new pages and updating others. Most pages that I am making are only accessible by a special link found in my emails. But more will be coming.

Be sure to check out my Verizon Message at Crazy's Info above.  One up for our President!

I hope all the mothers out there had a good weekend and were treated with some special attention. Without mothers, our world would be in total chaos.
I finally took my hair off. Over 16 inches of pony tail was cut off to go to the Locks of Love organization to make wigs for children with cancer or other hair damaging illnesses.

I put up with the hair for 5 months longer than I wanted to. Hey, who knows. I think I look younger. You decide, then let me know what you think of the transition. Click on each thumbnail to see a larger photo. then use your back button on your browser to return here.

Mid May 2003
I have been covering tornadoes over the last two weeks, with one touching down about 25 miles from me. Of course, as soon as the TV showed it's path, I grabbed my 300 channel scanner, my digital video camera and was out the door. It was an experience during those 5 hours I was out in the storm. More later.  Peace

05 May 2003
Well, today is Cinco De Mayo. Happy May 5th to you. Not much news to tell, but I am sure enjoying the rains and all the green that this country is showing. Missouri has not looked this good in many a year. It is thundering as I write this.  Oops, now the down pour. It has been raining non stop all day. Looks like we'll be swimming down the Mississippi soon! Peace

I have built a few pages for a friend who is selling their Recreational Vehicle. If you or someone you know is looking for one, please check out the link on the top of each page.

19 April 2003
Ok, I just have to post these photos. I got to take a scoot for a ride today, in the rain, but I did not care. Anytime I can get on a scoot and ride is a good day for me. Unfortunately, trying to come up with the $29,000 cash for it is a bit out of my realm right now. If you know anyone interested in a scoot like this, have them e-mail me and I will pass along the info to the Harley dealership that has it for sale.
This is a 2002 Boss Hoss Trike with a 400 c.i. V-8 engine, putting out 385 Horse Power. Talk about AWESOME RAW POWER! I only put about 20 miles on it, but it was Heaven for me.

15 April, 2003.

Well, Tax day has come and is almost over. Hope you got your taxes done or filed for your extension.
Ash Wednesday is tomorrow, Easter is this Sunday. We hope that it is a peaceful time for you.

Update on the Wind Tree is available on that page.
I also have received photos from a Russian Satellite (was told that, not confirmed) of the Space Shuttle Columbia as she was descending across the lower states. Now these photos are pretty clear and can be traumatic to some, so if you do not want to, don't go look at them.
Click the Shuttle Insignia to go to the page. I also have the photos in a collection in my Yahoo Photo section.

Hoping all had a safe, yet fun St. Patrick's Day! I used to party hearty in Butte, Montana, the town that rocks for three days each St. Patrick's Day. Butte is filled with history from the old days of mining, with the influx of immigrants from Ireland, Scotland, Germany and other countries. And the town shows it during special holidays.

Ramblings from the site owner....

Well, welcome to 2003! I hope that 2002 was okay. A lot has happened to Crazy over the year, and I will eventually post it somewhere here on my site. But I am uncomfortable with the State of Montana's regular visits to monitor my site. That is one of the reasons that this site has slowed down some on its updates and improvements.

We are still planted in Misery, er Missouri, but have deep desires to get back towards the higher elevation states. I am not thrilled with the mega-million car traffic jams all over the St. Louis area, all day, all night. Nor the daily murders and weekly police shootings. Boy does one miss the peaceful, quiet of rural Montana! Sure, Billings, the largest city in Montana, is almost as bad as St. Louis, just on a smaller scale, and there are a few other cities in Montana like that.  But for the most part, rural Montana is laid back, quiet, and peaceful, almost like the early days.

Growing up in a big city as I did, I tended to migrate towards rural life once I had the choice. Sure, the fast paced life has its place, but it is nice to be able to head out of the city when it's time to go home.

Enough rambling.  I hope that the year 2003 brings you Peace, Joy and Happiness. If you have any questions/problems with your trip through my site, please take a minute and send me a short email. Link on bottom of each page.  Crazy
